Anti_Virus

I have noticed around the web that there is not enough information on how to use this great tool.

Malware Bytes Anti-Malware is, as its name suggests, an anti-malware program developed as shareware by Malwarebytes that detects and removes malware on a user's computer. It's primarily focused on combating trojans, browser hijackers, and other components more serious than spyware and less so than viruses, although it also detects some of these as well. It is Malwarebytes' central project.

Malwarebytes offers a free, downloadable version, which can be upgraded to the full paid version which protects against incoming malware and performs scheduled scans and updates.

While Anti-Malware has a somewhat clunky interface, and in general is less intuitive than other free anti-malware programs, such as Ad-Aware, it has gained some notoriety as a last-ditch option for free malware removal. A Sept. 24, 2008 CNET article cited it as one of a few such programs able to defeat the so-called Antivirus XP 2008 spyware.

The tool we created to primarily provide a free tool along with the front runners such as AVG but to provide a more powerful removal tool for taking away the virus insttead of stuffing it in a box labeled a Vault and then hoping one day it will give up the fight. So lets get down to business. 

Installation

Installation is among the easiest parts of the program none of it is difficult but then again for some it may be a challenge.

This is a nice safe download and should always be trused. On clicking download a yellow box may appaear at the top of your browser. If this does click on the yellow bar and choose "allow" (this depends on your browser type) 

Then just download straight to your desktop. Always save dont just download and open as this will reduce errors. 

 When this screen appaears click next

Click on the tick box next to i accept the agreement and then click next. On the following screen click next also

 Here we see the default location that the program wants  to install. I would reccomend you leave this. Now continue to click next untill the program starts to instal.

 Leave both boxes ticked click finish. The software will now update and continue on to the next page

Running

I am posting this here with limited instructions. You will have to look on the internet for more of the advanced features

 Now click on the bottom box for Perform full scan. Now with this clicked press scan.

 If the scan picks up any files then they will be show like these on the left. When the scan is complete select all the entreis and then click remove selected

You pc is now clean!!

When the scan is finifshed the program will produce a log. The only reason to keep this is if you are looking to see were the program was removed from or if you are recieving help online. The scan it automatically saved and you can just close it
